(Cuz, ckpt files couldnt be liked on this site, because they include arbitrary code.)
That’s why Prompts from some sample pictures wouldn't make the same pictures,sorry.

・I think this model is not perfect,

but better for realistic Asian(+ other areas.Just try) .

・Face variation is really limited.

Use LORA or Embeddings as you like.(←！！)

I like to use "Ulzzang-6500" embeddings (I used that for all sample images).
This is my type....I couldn't avoid generating with this....

Who can tell you what is the typical Asian?

I've been coming to think face variation should be developed not on models, but on LORAs and also on embeddings.

Because,results can be quite randomed if that was developed on models.

(Yeah,I know random encounting could be also fun,though.)

You can make ideal faces with LORAs, embeddings as you like.

(Some examples of face variation by using some TI/HN/LORA)

Some Lora could work very nice, even though they were made for 2D charas.

They are notable that 2D charas Loras generate not only crothes, hair styles, but also facial features!!

This model is likely to get bigger tits.

If you like more smaller tits, try both of prompts,

"(small breasts) and (fantasy breasts)"

(Slim girl) maybe good.

it refers to the precision of the data, I believe

fp = floating point

16/32 = 16/32 bit

I am less familiar with what these mean in AI but in traditional image processing 32 bit is more accurate but also requires a larger memory footprint and is slower to work with. fp16 tends to be faster and smaller files but if you're doing lots of modification it becomes less precise. In traditional imaging a fp16 might show banding with extreme color adjustments faster than a fp32 would.

@VoxelPirate It refers to the precision of the weights inside of the neural network. A 32-bit float number can incorporate much more subtle changes in its value but obviously takes twice as much space in memory compared to a 16-bit float.

I generally use 4xUltraSharp for realistic, 4xAnimeSharp for anime (link below, that page has a guide for adding it). I've also heard people say SwinIR_4x is good for realistic, but I haven't done much testing myself.

Also, if you try to upscale more than 4x in one go, it'll probably turn out weird. If you want to scale beyond that, start with a higher resolution (assuming your GPU can handle it). If your GPU can't handle any more base resolution, you can try the following (easiest with square resolutions):

1. Upscale 4x
2. Split the upscaled image into 4 separate images
3. Upscale each one again
4. Stitch the images back into 1 manually, making adjustments where they don't line up

It's worth a shot if you're desperate but if you've got money to spend, the best options are to upgrade your GPU or use a cloud service

I'm not sure if I have the resources to do this but I might suggest the following plan if you're gonna try to recreate this model for SDXL:

Since the model is so popular, there are tons of images created using the model along with their respective prompts on sites like this as well as SeaArt, Pixai, etc. Maybe scrape these images and create a training dataset with these image - prompt pairings and train a SDXL checkpoint or LoRA with these.

Edit: I've uploaded an SDXL LoRA for this model.. please test it out since, ironically, I actually don't have the GPU power to test it out myself extensively. But take a look at my profile for it.

to AI learners:

if you search directly "chillout mix" on civitai, you will find the first ranked "chillout mixss" and may be interrupted by it.

It is a lora with much less than a checkpoint model, which means it IS NOT your "chillout mix".

if you download it, the name of the file will be seen as "xiaoshazi", which means "you are fooled by me".

I dont know why that link can also trap many likes but it is not the one you find.

Not sure what I'm doing wrong. I get pretty horrible results with this model on ComfyUI while all other models work fine. I copy-paste the positive and negative prompts from the sample images to my ComfyUI, use DPM++ SDE karras 30 steps. My resulting images look like the lighting is all wrong and some worm-like tendrils grow from the character's outline. Not that nice really :D Any ideas? Do I need some specific VAE?

try 10 steps ksampling 10 steps --> Latent upscale by 1.5 - 2.0 --> 2nd ksampler (Advanced) 20 steps --> 4k ultrasharp upscale model, works for me with low vram

In ComfyUI with certain models, I noticed that the prompts above a 1.4 weight can really warp the images. There are techniques and flows that can remedy it of course. However, you should lower any weight adjustments to 1.4 or less and see if that helps.

yeah just put the vae in the VAE file, and set it to automatic you should be fine, while you are running the chillout mix checkpoint it will automatically find the corresponding VAE

someone else figured it out... set the Checkpoint to use "vae-ft-mse-840000-ema-pruned" in the checkpoint's config and it'll work.

I've added the model to the model folder. I've also added the provided VAE to the VAE folder. Sadly it Stable Diffusion wont boot up successfully unless I replace the VAE with any other available VAE. Is anyone else having this problem?
