LustrousMix aims to serve as a bridge between 2D and 2.5D checkpoints, with vibrant colors, and good contrast.
No need to use bloatware embeddings, they will not make your images better.
Using 3D in your negatives will alter the look of the checkpoint, it is not necessary at all, only use it if you prefer the way it looks with it more than how I use it.
Recommended settings :
Positive prompt : score_9, score_7_up, source_anime
Negative prompt : monochrome, greyscale
Sampler : Euler a
I highly recommend using the ADetailer extension for better faces.
VAE is baked in.

What is the difference between 1.0 and 2.0?
More contrast, better backgrounds, less of the blurry / bloomy effect and yellowish light around characters.
There's some small changes in the style of faces as well, and I like the way it looks with greyscale on top of monochrome in negative better than it did in v1.
I really like this model. It gives a great comic book feel to the generations. Even when I do not like the interpretation, there is a still a very nice balance between realism, whimsy, and solid drawing

I love the model but sometimes images are generated with very high contrast and they look very ugly, how can I correct that?
I'm having a lot of fun with this model. I'm getting some really high-quality images with it and it's very flexible. In my experimentation, I like how things turn out better with DPM++ SDE Karras, but maybe I need to experiment with Euler A more. Thanks for all the hard work!

It's because of their new auction thing where you need to bid buzz on checkpoints to get them on the generator. I'll try to get it back on for next week.

This really pisses off the creators. Damn whoever invented this stupid auction. This is for spending money and Buzz, the idiot, or he forces you to spend money. That's not cool.

One of the greatest checkpoint I discovered. It's another Hassaku XL (Pony) alternative. Use this to create a beautiful pictures of your prompts. Highly reccomend!

Very nice this us quite useful
With Civitai's auctions now only using the top 100 checkpoints, it cost me around 26k buzz to get LustrousMix [Pony XL] on the generator for this week, when it brings me less than 1k daily.
I kept it up for this week, but I will most likely not be able to sustain it, given the low amount of generations it gets.
