EnvyMix is an anime and semi-realistic model that is a cosine merge of several merges of high quality models. It's reasonably good at hands, it does nice backgrounds, and it can handle LoRAs without looking overcooked a lot better than most other models.
Description
Finally found that elusive "2.25D" look that I've been chasing forever now, and it was just a matter of using SuperMerger's cosineA blend with EnvyMix_v1 and Chrysanthemum (which is an awesome model that I heartily recommend).
This model does nice faces, it does hands reasonably well, it does coherent backgrounds, and so on. Definitely going to be my new default.

Seems to only produce black squares
Try a different Vae
the preview looks normal while generating but it turns completely grey or brown at the end.
I know it's a VAE problem. I tried 5 different VAEs as well as setting it to auto and none. It still results in a grey output.
I'm using Forge WebUI.
What should I do?
I also tested in ComfyUI. It worked with other VAEs.
Looks like Forge has problems loading VAEs only for this model as it shows lots of errors in cmd. Even setting a preferred VAE in checkpoint specific settings didn't fix it.
It's strange and sad... I really like this model :(
Same problem in SwarmUI
I really don't know what to tell you. Given that this model works fine in other software, I would recommend submitting a bug report.
