EnvyMix is an anime and semi-realistic model that is a cosine merge of several merges of high quality models. It's reasonably good at hands, it does nice backgrounds, and it can handle LoRAs without looking overcooked a lot better than most other models.
Description
Mixed in SRAlpha. The results now have a bit more personality and the hands come out better.

Would it be possible to get a version without the NAI VAE embedded, or would you know if it's possible and if so how we could strip it ourselves?
I've uploaded a version with the VAE (ostensibly) removed for both 1.0 and 1.1 (the 1.0 one is separate because there were already 4 files associated with it).
Even if a VAE is embedded into a checkpoint, you can always untick the option :
"Ignore selected VAE for stable diffusion checkpoints that have their own .vae.pt next to them"
This way SD will use whatever VAE you choose, instead of the one in the checkpoint's folder, or the one embedded in the checkpoint.
@hansolocambo Interesting, that wording could likely use an update then as it would suggest it's only capable of ignoring loose VAEs
