Lora for creating a single above knee amputee.

I would love to see images you create with this.

v2 has axillary crutches. It will work without crutches although I'd use v1 if you want an amputee sitting or without crutches.

v3 has elbow crutches. It will work without crutches although I'd use v1 if you want an amputee sitting or without crutches.

I have a Facebook group for my images https://www.facebook.com/groups/3981929895376070/

wow, that's the best LORA of this kind so far. works absolutely amazing. :)

unfortunately all the SD and FLUX models still have no idea how crutches are supposed to work. :(

Thank you. I have crutches on my to do list.

Have you tried my Flux wheelchair lora? You do need to play around a bit with the settings to get it to work with this lora, but it can be done.

    johndoe_devOct 13, 2024

@droidy001142 Yes, I did try it and it works surprisingly well with this LORA, so thanks for that. :) And it is great to hear that you are working on a LORA for crutches. If it is as good as your other LORAs, the result should be amazing. :)

@johndoe_dev any chance you could upload exampples. I would love to see what settings others use.

@droidy001142 Sorry, but I just copied the workflow from your images, since I only switched to ComfyUI from A1111 2 days ago and so far have not much of a clue what I'm doing. ;)

@johndoe_dev No worries, good luck with it. I'm also on a huge learning curve. Would still like to see what you've done with it if you want to share.

    lesjoOct 25, 2024

@johndoe_dev Then the workflow is embedded in your images, and anyone who also has ComfyUI can retrieve that information by loading your image. Don't worry, you already answered the question about settings without even realizing it. :)

@lesjo  It's still worth playing with the settings, it can produce different results. This is especially true if using more than one Lora at a time..

Is there a corresponding project for arm amputees? It would be really nice if my protagonist with the carbon fiber arm could take it off when she gets in the shower.

I am going to try and make a lore with a combination of differnt missing limbs.. hopefully I'l get time over the next week or so. If I can't get that to work then I will do different Lora's.

@droidy001142 Good to hear! I already tried rolling my own LoRA for the SBE character in question, but I'm running pretty much minimum spec hardware for AI generation so training is impractical, and I gave up after about a dozen failures. It appears I'm just a consumer and not a producer when it comes to the models themselves.

@lesjo It's all trial and error with me, I only understand a tiny bit of how this all works. I'm really struggling to work out how to caption images to get more than one concept in each Lora. Unfortunatly if you can't train locally then it can get expensive if you end up discarding most of the stuff you do.

Is there a magic trigger to get it to only affect one leg? When it works, it always seems to get both sides even if I specify left or right. A lot of the time it doesn't kick in at all, but that's probably just a case where I have to play with the weights.

no matter what I've tried I can't get it to understand left or right. I have just started experimenting with depth maps, to get specific sides and poses, it looks promising.

As for just affecting one leg, this is what it should do. However I have noticed for reasons I don't understand certain images affect both legs. This seems to happen more, for me, when I try underwear or on a bed. Play about with the strength of the lora and amount of steps.
