Please share your creations. I would love to see how you have used the LoRA.

    Version 1.4

Karl_Knecht noted that clouds were taking on fractal patterns, which exist in flora in the images. This version is an effort to reduce the cloudy fractals whilst maintaining the overall feel of the LoRA. See what you think.

This lora is abolutely lovely! I particularly like what it does to flowers, foliage and hair - never seen that before. I am very curious to know what you trained this on.

Initially, I trained a LoRA with a simple pastel style and used it to produce more images with stronger prompts towards what I was aiming for, including closeups of flowers , as it happens. The end results was somewhat surprising but it worked. It's actually taken a long time from start to finish before I produced something I was happy with for this LoRA.

@CreativeEdge Having made a ton of images with this Lora, I still love it, but there is one aspect that I hope you can improve if you should decide to do a second version. The Lora produces a distinct fractal-like shape for tree foliage, and that is lovely. But it often does the same thing to the clouds and that looks wrong. So it would be good to have a version where clouds don't branch out fractally in twigs and smaller twigs.

@Karl_Knecht had not noticed that. And a good point. I suspect that if I changed the training images to try to alter that, the feel of the LoRA would change completely. Even so, I’ll see what I can do. Does reducing the LoRA weight reduce that characteristic for you?

    Karl_KnechtOct 13, 2024

@CreativeEdge Yes, reducing the weight to about 0.5 reduces the chance of fractal clouds. That is what I am using now. Or I do an inpainting pass over the sky area with an sdxl model and high denoise.

The effect I am talking about is also present in one of the gallery images, the one withe big blue door.

@Karl_Knecht yep, I see it. Clouds look like the foliage. I probably lacked clouds in the training images. Maybe I can do something about it…

@Karl_Knecht one of the interim LoRAs I used to produce the training images was very heavily weighted, which produced that cloud effect. By reducing the weight, I've eradicated fractal clouds. I'll see if I can reproduce the LoRA and retain the overall style.

@CreativeEdge Great, looking forward to it!
