I absolutely -love- some of the demo pictures here, but when I use this embedding, no matter what I prompt (adult in +, child/kid in -) I can't create anything of her older than about 10.

I haven't encountered the situation you mentioned. Could you provide more information so I can identify the cause of the problem.
- Which base model are you using?
Most of the negative feedback I’ve received has been due to using an unsuitable base model.
All my sample images were generated using SoloMix, which is also the base model I highly recommend for my TIs.
In addition, there are other models that can also produce good results, such as:
CyberRealistic v5, epiCPhotoGasm LastUnicom, Realistic v51, picX_real v1
- What's in your prompt and negative prompt?

I'll try some of the things you suggested and see. I tried a couple different models, ICBINP and Reliberate. I'll try a few more, but the website I use to generate images won't take checkpoints like SoloMix.

ICBINP is a good model. I used it for quite some time. If you can choose a version, I recommend the ICBINP Final version. For some models, the differences in results between versions are quite noticeable.
Reliberate is also a decent model, but it’s not great at character accuracy with TIs.
Additionally, the negative prompt is an important factor, so don't overlook it.
