Focused mainly on realistic portraits and flexibility, with higher native resolution support. (V8: 896x1152, up to 1024x1280, 1280x1280)
Example images are somewhat cherry-picked, no hi-res upscale used, no face-fix.
CLIP Skip 2 might help with realism in some cases while sacrificing fantasy aspects, experiment with it.

The Tiers separately are UNUSABLE because of all the AddDiffs, but merging them together brings them back to usable territory.
Probably merged these with Weighted sum as
( (Tier1 + Tier2Part1)*0.5 + (Tier2-Part2 + Tier3)*0.5 ) + Tier4 * ?
Then merged it with a custom DB model (trained on a face, but it also learned a bit of analog photo style) to tone it down a bit

Moving it back a bit towards photorealism:
Exp3+ (not sure about the weights from here on, but used weighted sum)
(Analog + SimpMaker3k1 + DoubleExp + Attractive + Licthspiel)
+ (SexyRealism + TheGirlNextDoor)
+ (RealVision1.2 + ProjectPhotoBeta)
+ (Dreamlike PhotoV2 + Deliberate1.1)
= WyvernMix V1
Description
slightly better realism by default, but a bit less artsy in return
it looks like its mainly due to better lighting/shadows/reflections and skin details, somehow the very similar compositions seem to pop out a bit more from the images
with some creativity training from the chimera experiments

Hi! Happy to see a new Wyvernmix update. for the XL 1.8 I'm just wondering what recommended resolutions to use? Would it be the same as V8 (896x1152, 1024x1280, 1280x1280)?
thank you! yeah, it's an SDXL model, so those should work fine. I'm happy with its supported range so far, so I haven't gotten into trying to increase it yet.
kind reminder though, V1-V9 were SD1.5 based, and the ones with the XL prefix are SDXL based, but due to that they have a similar resolution support by default.
Nice works bro, I swear Wyvernmix is Top notch SDXL model on earth at the moment. Really appreciate your efforts.

Is there something broken in the XL1.8 release? I'm getting some very odd images out of it. Everything looks like a cross between a jellyfish or Cousin It.
I've checked the checksum, all good, and using a ComfyUI flow that the XL1.1 model works absolutely fine with.
could you provide some prompt examples so I can look into it? thanks!
@wier It appears to be something weird with the TinyTerraNodes I was using. Using standard nodes is fine, but the same settings with TTN and it's like half the prompt is being ignored.
Only this checkpoint though. very odd. Anyway, I'll leave this info here just in case somebody else gets the problem.
@wier It's the clip skip. If you use the default value (-2), everything works fine, but if you set -1 everything becomes a mess.
You can see the result of my experiments in the link: https://imgur.com/a/pCXLLxx
@wewbull778 thank you, but i'm not really sure what to do about it, I'm using auto1111 where you can only set positive numbers for clip skip, but it doesn't seem to affect the gens at all, I get the same pic with 1 and 6 as well 😖
@wier I think A1111 uses positive numbers to say how many layers to skip at the end. Comfy uses negative numbers to say which is the last layer used (-1 being the last, -2 being the penultimate). It's just a different way to say the same thing.
Anyway, the important thing is that if anyone else gets odd results in Comfy, the info is here on what to set.
XL v1.1 is wonderful!
I've been able to create some beautiful semi-realistic portraits.
XL v1.8 is also wonderful! It wasn't hard to reproduce the same look I had with the earlier version. I haven't tried any realism yet.
Wyvern 9
Maybe it's just me, and i find it weird, but it seems that on clip skip 4 the model listens more to the prompt than on 1 2 3
V9. I'll start with the pros. Indeed, this model is characterized by good photorealism, very good flexibility and variability, I really liked the wide variety of faces. Good portraits are obtained, including those of men and animals.
However, perhaps due to its flexibility, it can be difficult for this to cope with complex prompts, the anatomy and faces break down, especially on wide shots.
Anyway, it's worth paying attention to this model, I really liked some of the results.
