A Collection of specially blended upscalers I've been experimenting with.
General: This version can be used for almost anything.
Anime: Anime specific version of the upscaler for… anime and similar.
Mixed: A mix of the above 2 which results in a more balanced look.
The comparison animation is a bit washed out, look at the preview images for a more accurate look.
Depending on your preferences and what you usually generate, you might like all of them, some of them or none. You will have to try and see what works for you. 😊
Installation and Use:
Download your desired version
For WebUI put it in models/ESRGAN
For comfyUI put it in models/upscaler_models
RENAME THE FILE TO .pth (Why? Cuz Civitai wants it to be in .pt so yeah)

does this really add more detail to upscaled images? Is there other better ones... is there specific settings? Used upscale loader node in comgy UI
@loo It does what any other upscaler does. Upscaler results are subjective. You'll have to test them and see if you like them compared to others. I can't say if there are better ones, again you need to test that on your own or try to find a massive comparison grid (though I wouldn't put too much weight on that, I believe it's better to test what upscaler you have and see if it makes your images better). It's possible there are better ones, there's about as many upscalers as there are checkpoints, so good luck testing all of them and find the best one possible. Settings are all depended on your images and preferences, I don't comfyui allot, so I can't say to be honest. If you need a tutorial on how to use upscalers optimally, I'm sure they exist (I can't explain every detail here lol), so just research a bit, and I'm sure you'll find what you need even if it's not my upscaler pack.
