I have taken a version of my Jib Mix Realistic 11 model that I noticed was very good at doing painted and draw art styles and further mixed and added artistic Loras to make it even more arty.
If you want really deep visible paint/brush stokes then put "deep impasto brush strokes" and "painterly style" in the prompt.
I noticed that in portraits the subject might not look at the "camera" by default like they often do in most stable diffusion models, so if you want that to happen it is good to put "looking at the camera" in the prompt.

this isn't bad but it really isn't that sharp either. I get random results, sometimes nice and painterly, sometimes photo like but fuzzy, I made them 1600x1024 and zoom to 200-300% and I have some models that are real sharp, this one is not. Its like its using 1.5 images. I like the painter style, if that was the default for all images, i'd rather have that than its attempt at making a photo like look.
Otherwise I like the layout it makes, it seems artistic, just random.
Yes I agree with what you are saying. You do have to still prompt for a painterly style if you want it strong if that is what you really want. I know it isn't sharp as I noticed when training my newest photographic Jib Mix Realistic model that the better if was at art the less photographic the model was, that is why I have split them out.
Awesome!
