Someone singlehandedly bid 100k buzz on this model. THAT WAS A BAD HORRIBLE WASTE 😭.
Let me explain: Biding is something we need to do every week. It's what determines which models will be available for the next 7 days. The models in the top 100 positions in the auction will only be available for the next 7 days Irrespective of what position it was in the auction. Meaning if this week's auction closes with Analogue in 99th or even 100th place, we would have still been fine. Even 15k or 20k buzz is usually enough to be in a a safe enough position in the auction (heck! Even a little over 10k is good enough. remember even 99th or 100th place would still win) so that 110k that was dumped at once could have been enough to keep the model available for 5-10 weeks (2 months) but it was all bid at once and gone into civitai's wallets. The model will now only be available for 7 days for that huge amount and we will still need to bid again for the next week :(. Please never bid over 20k buzz for one model. Things arent too crazy yet so that amount is still currently good enough to hold a good enough/safe position in the auction. Please like so others can be informed of this.
Tip: to know what position a model is in, just search it's name in the auction page. The search bar is just above the first model. It's position in the auction will be shown.
Also note: Biding is done for a specific model version. Biding on that version doesn't automatically unlock the other versions. For example if a model has 5 versions and V3 and V5 are your favourite. You need to bid for each of them separately. Remember: for now 20k buzz or so is good enough. Even 15k can win (for now)
thnx for the explanation. the userbase of Analog Madness is kinda small, so sadly enough no one places a bid on the models, I have to do it myself, but I need the buzz for creating new lora's. I hope one day other people place bids :)
Just want to add in this week's auction the bid for the last place (#100) finished at 30 500 buzz.

XL4 is a mage.space exclusive model, so it's not on civitai.

Even now, XL2 remains the best version. Later versions often generate blurry and distorted images.
