You can reduce the size of LoRAs via the LoRA resize tool in the kohya-ss GUI by bmaltais.

Many times, lowering the rank can actually substantially improve the output quality, however sometimes it doesn't work the best. Some details will be lost and overall image quality can go down, but lowering the strength usually compensates for any quality drop and offers greater flexibility.
Final Tip: Training at a higher rank then releasing the model at a much lower rank can have amazing results, but it depends on your training settings.
