@Phoenix69420 yeah I'm pretty sure krea2 won't be used much and anima will stay/rise as the leader. The quality of krea2 is really great, but the tradeoffs are pretty bad too. Both the NSFW block and the extremely high resource requirement make it pretty much unusable on most local machines. I'm currently "cheating" a bit with the prompts too, don't really want to rewrite 300+ prompts, so I still use tags but with the Krea2 Text Enhancer xD
I think a huge problem is how hard the training of loras is. A good base model needs good loras and krea2's resource requirements make it very hard for average users to train loras without exploding their pc. To get optimized training speed I am using 31GB VRAM of my 5090 with around 60GB RAM just for the training itself. Anima is extremely cheap in comparison. And this makes available resources pretty low, which also means the whole base is less usable for the average user :/
A good general summary is that Krea2 is a niche but powerful base, probably best used for highly professional art and studios/movies/similar, while Anima is better for the average consumer because it offers more options, is cheaper, and easier to use, while still generating great quality- and I personally prefer using Anima in my free time :)
Tbh I currently mostly upload krea2 because I'm still reworking my entire anime pipeline, so I'm just re-using the existing datasets, but once thats done krea2 will move back to being the "less important" base I create loras for ^^
