I presume the great Leiji Matsumoto (松本零士) needs no introduction; if you don't know him from his wonderful films like Galaxy Express 999 and Queen Emeraldas, you know him from Daft Punk's Interstella 5555 music videos, or from content posted here. Starzinger is too old for me unfortunately, but I'll never forget Daft Punk's Voyager.
@skyger For me, it was Galaxy Express 999, when it would come on occasionally, late at night on the scifi channel. And similar films like Wings of Honneamise, Venus Wars and more I'm forgetting. Simpler times.

It seems like KREA2 is much better suited for restoring vintage art styles than anima.
I feel like that's the case too. Anima is more stubborn to train for, can overpower styles more easily, and tends to want to be more crisp and digital looking.
