These files are 40-block Anima-2.9, same chassis as the original 2.9B. Stock Comfy often loads them as 28 blocks with no hard error — that is the colored static.
You need the loader patch from the original 2.9B author:
https://github.com/gazingstars123/ComfyUI-Anima-2.9B
Original 2.9B page (same depth expansion):
https://civarchive.com/models/2855007/anima-29b
Put the folder in custom_nodes, restart, then check the startup/load log for 40 blocks, not 28.
Also still need: official Anima / qwen_image VAE, CLIP qwen_3_06b_base + qwen_image, 16ch latent (not EmptyLatentImage 4ch), AuraFlow shift ~3–4.5. Delta Mix nodes are not required just to run the baked checkpoint.

These models (both Delta v5 and Delta Mix 2.9Bv4.0 styled) are the only Anima ones that don't work for me for some reason. I only get a garbled mess of colored static even in simple workflows, no loras and using the author suggested settings.
No idea why, lol. So sad.
These two are 40-block Anima-2.9 chassis (not 28-block 2B). If Comfy builds them as 28 blocks, you get colored static and no crash.

Control test
Same graph, official Anima-2.9B or another working 2.9 — if that is clean and only Delta files are static, paste the load lines for both.
If the console says 28 blocks on a 5.44 GB 2.9 file, install
https://github.com/sparklingcoffee777/ComfyUI-Anima-2.9B-blocksPatch
(or a current Comfy that already counts 40), restart, check the log again. Desktop often stays on 28; portable is more reliable.
Also do not load the UNET raw without AuraFlow + 16ch latent — that path is dark/static even when weights are fine.
you probably need to update your comfyui, it works fine with the latest version just using the base load diffusion node.
Update Forge Neo/ComfyUi if you are using it. Had the same issue until I updated it
