    Capabilities and Intended use

    Krea 2 is a text-to-image diffusion model that generates images from natural-language text descriptions. The model is designed to support creative, commercial, developer, and research use cases, including image generation, concepting, design exploration, visual production workflows, and integration into applications and creative tools.

    Out-of-Scope Uses

    This model is not intended or designed for uses that violate applicable law or regulations, infringe or misappropriate third-party rights, generate or facilitate unlawful or harmful content (including CSAM, NCII, harassment or defamation), or support fully automated decision-making that adversely affects legal rights of individuals. This summary is non-exhaustive. Use of Krea 2 is subject to the Krea 2 Community License Agreement and must comply with the Acceptable Use Policy. In the event of any conflict, the Krea Acceptable Use Policy and Krea 2 Community License control.

    Training Data

    This model was developed using a combination of publicly available data, data licensed from third-party providers, and synthetic data generated through proprietary methods. The training data includes images and their associated captions or text descriptions.

    Prior to training, data was filtered to remove certain categories of harmful content and reduce low-quality, duplicative, or irrelevant data. Krea also used curated and synthetic training data selected to improve prompt following, visual quality, and alignment with intended use cases.

    Safety Measures

    We implemented safety measures across the full model development lifecycle. We applied targeted fine-tuning techniques to reduce the model's susceptibility to generating harmful content in response to both direct and adversarial prompts, and we conducted multiple rounds of internal and external safety evaluation before release.

    For Krea's hosted products incorporating Krea 2, we deploy input and output classifiers using a combination of proprietary and third-party detection tools to flag or block policy-violating prompts and generated images.

    Because this is also an open-weights release, Krea does not control downstream deployment of the model. Under the Krea 2 Community License, deployers are required to implement content filtering measures or equivalent review processes to prevent the generation or distribution of unlawful or policy-violating content appropriate to their use case. Deployers who fail to implement required safeguards are in breach of the license. See the license for details.

    We conducted multiple rounds of internal and external safety evaluations before release, including adversarial testing designed to assess the model's resilience to attempts to elicit harmful or policy-violating outputs. Testing covered sexually explicit content, non-consensual intimate imagery, child-safety risks, and other high-risk content categories. Based on these evaluations, the release checkpoints demonstrated high resilience against violative inputs across the tested risk categories.

    Krea maintains reporting channels for harmful, illegal, or policy-violating outputs at [email protected]. Reports involving potential CSAM are escalated to NCMEC as required by law. Krea reserves the right to update model weights or revoke access in response to identified misuse patterns.

    Risks and Limitations

    Krea 2 is a new technology and there are risks associated with its use. Testing conducted to date has not covered, nor could it cover, all possible scenarios. The model's potential outputs cannot be predicted in advance and may, in some instances, produce inaccurate, objectionable, or otherwise undesirable outputs.

    This model is not intended to provide factual information. The model may fail to generate output that matches the prompt, and prompt following may be influenced by prompt style, specificity, language, and phrasing.

    Before deploying any application using this model, developers should perform safety testing and tuning tailored to their specific application and must implement safeguards required by the Krea 2 Community License.

    License and Outputs

    Krea does not claim copyright or other intellectual property rights over content generated by users of this model. Users are solely responsible for their outputs and any subsequent use of those outputs. As with other generative tools, the nature of a user's inputs influences the outputs produced, and prompts may produce images that implicate third-party rights.     @daceheg192491 I'm using SD Forge Neo since it seems able to do Krea now, but maybe it can't do Krea 2 yet. And I'm using an RTX 3060ti.

    @Corgblam You can try the FP8 otherwise until / unless Forge Neo has INT8_convrot support. Either one should work on that card in ComfyUI but I've never used forge.

    @Corgblam If you're like me you've just wasted hours trying to get it working trying every bit of advice from Google and chatgpt and got nowhere. the last thing google ai said was "You are completely right to call me out. I have been throwing a wall of technical jargon and shifting settings at you..., which is incredibly unhelpful and annoying. I am an AI, and I messed up by overcomplicating this and guessing your UI instead of giving you a definitive, simple answer.  Let's cut through all the [crap] right now.

    I kept reiterating that I was using Forge Neo. just as, I see you've had to in the comments. Looks like AI keeps making the same assumptions that humans do even though you can't make it clear enough! WHAT A CROCK. It's been so long since I used Comfy I'll probably have to reinstall it from scratch like last time.

    @Rivington Actually I fiddled with it for about 20 minutes yesterday, figured it was a compatibility mismatch and Krea 2 was its own thing, and decided to shelve it until the webui updates.

    @Corgblam I also had black images, but enabling the “--disable-sage” option instead of “--sage” at startup helped.

    @Rivington neo supports Krea2, what neo is lacking is support for new convrot thing and int8 support is by old emulation so NEO works only with fp8 and such versions. NEO creator is well aware of how much big deal convrot is and native int8 support is next on his agenda.\

    As for comfy, wasted 16h trying to get that garbage (comfy) to work. I finally did, had to go for a while so turned it off, when i returned comfy no longer could start because ofc some node broke and could not be updated... i just uninstalled it, waiting for full neo support.

    @bitzupa OH that's so frustrating! The biggy that stopped me using it was I used Reactor a lot, not for anything bad but because you generate a not-so-great face throw reactor at it and you get the same face but perfect. Reactor just didn't work so well in Comfy, or at least, I couldn't get it working well, the settings in Forge were much better. The only improvement that needed was use with 2D images.

    @Corgblam Never OOM Integrated Enabled for VAE (always tiled)
    set COMMANDLINE_ARGS=--disable-sage --skip-version-check --adv-samplers
    make sure you aren't rendering too high a resolution. I keep forgetting to check the Never OOM settings after restarting when using z-image so that's been a game changer. If you ask Google for help make sure you put your operating system and your graphics card details. I'm on a RTX 4090 but it's a laptop so only 16GB of VRAM image sizes 960px are working fine for me now. You asking the question has helped me a lot. Thanks.

    I unfortunately still cant get forge neo to work with Krea2. Keep getting 'AssertionError: You do not have Qwen3 state dict!' even though I'm sure i have the right encoder selected.

    @WickedEnding honestly it's so complicated I can't tell you what I've done anymore. I was getting that error too. You need to get the right sized model to fit with your VRAM too. You also need lots of other things all in place too. Too many to mention. Use Google AI but tell it your using FORGE NEO and remind it, tell it your GPU and remind it don't be afraid to tell it it's wrong, it will come back, oh, your very right to put me straight... It's a slog but you can get there if you just get all your ducks in a row. read this thread too. get the right models and put them in the right place then make sure you've got all three models loaded and your settings right and don't render higher than your VRAM can cope with.

    This INT8, based on the official base model, is the best I've spent a whole day testing among all the sites collected. Its limbs and textures are the closest to realism; other models are either off-key or have major rendering errors. I recommend using the INT8 version.

    @daceheg192491 it is up to date. i ve int8-fast loader yet it doesnt have krea 2 option in it. load diffusion node doesnt change too. its like tiled artifacts as result.

    @Soulcoding Not seeing the krea2 option in the clip is a sign of not being updated. You don't need to use the int8-fast node pack at all if you're up-to-date. Normal diffusion loader now handles int8-convrot

    @daceheg192491 nah clip has that option. int8-fast loader doesnt. i choose flux on there. nothing changes. yeah. i use int8 convrot for ltx2.3 and works well with this loader or load diffusion.

    @daceheg192491 nah. solved. it was sageattention launch argument... it breaks some models. i can use qwen with changing sageattention method on node but i wasnt using sageattention in it. maybe it works that way on this too.
