Mitsui Honoka is a first-year student at First High School and a member of Course 1, placing her among the more capable magic students within the academy’s structured hierarchy. She is also closely associated with Shiba Tatsuya and Shiba Miyuki, often appearing alongside them as part of their extended group. Despite not being the most combat-oriented character, Honoka plays an important role through her support capabilities and emotional presence.

Personality-wise, Honoka is gentle, kind-hearted, and emotionally expressive. She is known for her strong admiration and affection toward Tatsuya, which becomes a defining trait of her character throughout the series. While this can sometimes make her appear shy or overly devoted, she is not weak—she shows determination when it matters and is willing to step forward to support her friends.
