Here is my first-ever merge release, HimerosXL. Designed to bring homoerotic content to SDXL's diverse and infinite possibilities!

Version two is here! I rebuilt this from (basically) scratch. I have removed any and all DPO, most Turbo, and any other speedup/enhancements from this merge! This is to ensure the model is flexible with LoRAs and embeddings. You can use the Turbo, Lightning, DPO, or LCM LoRAs on top of this optionally, though I haven't tested them.
Even though I focused on photorealism with this, other styles are still possible, though V1 is more flexible. This is better at composition, prompt accuracy, and detail than V1.
This model is still focused on creating male portraiture, with NSFW focus. It will give you nude males without much prompting, SFW generations with clothing tags, as well as women, futas, and hetero content. I don't use it for those reasons so they aren't fully tested, but definitely possible.
For genitals, you can use more descriptors to try to get results you are looking for. "large penis, small penis, erection, flaccid" etc. will work some of the time.
Currently, it has issues with realistic male asses, and multiple people in sexual positions/interactions. (For better butts, you can add in LoRAs like Xbutt, Bussy, etc. but experiments including them here weren't very sucessful).
Because of the genital focus of this, you will get penises randomly, well, everywhere. Hands, on walls, floors, just be prepared for a sausage or two in your gens.
Future plans - I would also like more control over penises (size, cut/uncut, etc.) in the future. Better asses, as well as pose flexibility, and enhanced genitals, may be possible with further Pony inclusions in the future. I may also release a Pony-focused version of this that I have been working on.

Recommendations:
Sampler: Many samplers work well with this model. I have used many in my example images. I recommend trying XYZ Prompt with samplers to see their unique traits.
Steps: 20-35 (dependent on sampler)
CFG: 4-9
Clip skip: 2
Sizes: 832x1216, 896x1152, 1024x1024, 1152x896, 1216x832
VAE: SDXL Vae fix
Positive Prompts: Keep them as simple as "one man" or as complex as you wish. This model tends to understand both BLIP-style and Booru tags, I recommend mixing them both. Start your prompt with composition, then define specifics you want to see, and wrap it up with style. Sometimes full sentences work well.
Negative Prompts: Keep them simple and to the point! Enough with the paragraphs of tokens, they typically make results worse.
ADetailer: Absolutely recommended, use at 0.4 denoise on faces. Add in Penis Adetailer for enhancement as well, set your mask blur to 8. Replace your prompts for faces and penises with new prompts that removes genitals from face prompt and body/face characteristics from penis prompt.

I've been experimenting with this merge for awhile, and my members have been helping me test it before release. Please note, this is still in "beta", and like most XL stuff at the moment, isn't perfect. I will continue playing with merging in new content, and eventually probably train my own content to merge into it as well.
My goal with this merge is threefold - improve quality of genitals and male physiques without needing extra LoRAs, remain stylistically flexible, and work fast. Therefore, it includes a recipe of many male-focused XL resources, as well as high quality base models that include LCM + Turbo. It also has a dash of DPO.
That being said, photorealism is currently what this model excels at. It works well, however, with Fooocus-style prompts to push styles such as anime, 3d, and art styles.
For genitals, you can use more descriptors to try to get results you are looking for. "large penis, small penis, erection, flaccid" etc. will work some of the time.
You can expect this merge to give you great male portraits, which will mostly end up nude even without prompting. That being said, it can do fully-clothed as well, and it can also produce women, futas, you name it. I have not fully explored what it is even capable of outside of males. It might even be better at hetero content than I realize, I'll leave that up to you! It can handle some sexual positions/interactions, but expect deformities and struggles. Multiple people in a scene is also a nice feature it handles well.
I have tested some of my own LoRAs on this model, and the results are not amazing. I believe this is due to the Turbo aspect. I will attempt to correct this in future merges.

Finally, a great xl model that does males right out of the box. I used it today and after trying so many xl models this one is the best so far in terms of a general use male-focused model.

I get artifacts when rendering. Images don't come out smooth. I have the same issue when I use the xpenis Lora. I wonder if it's related. I can share an example later.
Hmm, what size are you using? And are you using the SDXL vae?

@Eggbena Hmm that should be fine. Are you working in Comfy? I would need to see your prompt/CFG/sampler/etc. to make any judgement.
@diffusiondudes it seems to have been the sampler. So far k_euler_a is the only one that gives me decent results. So that's good to know :)
@Eggbena Interesting, I have only used this with DPM++ SDE Karras but good to know Euler a also works.
@Eggbena I have tried both and to me it depends on what you are trying to make, when doing closeups i liked euler a better but when doing far aways i liked sde karras(hopefully i got the name right) better. When i used euler a it had a softer/smoother look to it and sometimes it was too much and other times it was perfect
I love this model so much and it might be the one that makes me switch to SDXL. Great diversity and its amazing at doing realistic generations. HimerosXL has great potential for merges and its just overall a solid base model.
Its pretty good, wish it could draw even fatter supersized chubby men like duchaiten-sdxl, maybe one day. Overall I am liking this model 😀
I can look at merging that in as well, unfortunately the more I merged in penis-focused stuff, the less flexible the body diversity got

have you ever tried the megachub lora? Relying on models can work sometimes but if there's a certain thing you're looking for it's best to use a lora or model that was built to help focus on that exact thing
@rime11 thanks, megachub lora is ok. I do prefer when the model is capable of chubby by default. realvisxl, juggernaut-xl and duchaiten-sdxl are good at this. Megachub and other loras tend to interfere with the face. Megachub made all my grandpa faces younger. Stacking loras can be terrific or terrible at times.
Very excited to try this model!! have been waiting for something like this for awhile, also i quite literally just found this other model 3 minutes ago and am unsure if u have tried it yet, i havent tried it yet myself but it looks like something you may be interested in, its named "Silverstar XL" and it is said to be a male focused model

@diffusiondudes Awesome! I do have a question though, are Lora’s able to work with turbo? I use a Lora for making really big but*s since it’s better to do it that way than simply rely on a model to do it for me but when I use the lora it isn’t looking the way I want it to, but maybe I’m just doing something wrong
@rime11 Unfortunately my SDXL LoRAs don't work too well on this. I believe it's because of Turbo. They need more steps to bake in to images and reducing steps makes them uneven. I'll focus on that in the future. I actually trained a LoRA again on top of this and it worked much better, which tells me it is the Turbo/LCM/DPO. Just need to figure out if there's a fix. Is the LoRA public? I could always test it a bit too. Also, sometimes merging the LoRA into the model with Supermerger can help but that's complicated.
@diffusiondudes Ohh that actually makes a lot of sense. And Yes it’s called “hyper bottm heavy SDXL”, I’ve thought about trying learning how to build a Lora into a model but never looked into it because I definitely don’t have enough v ram/space for it.(complicated). The lora isn’t primarily male focused but I don’t think it’s primarily woman focused either? Not sure if you mind. I’ve always had to use Lora’s like it since there’s not a lora specifically for making men’s but*s bigger. It’s worked ok for me so far though.
@rime11 I had decent luck with it, just posted some results. "Anime" seems to trigger the effect the most. I like how it works actually, I might add a drop to my merge in the future.
@diffusiondudes Wow it looks amazing honestly😳, best results I’ve seen so far with SDXL. On main models like juggernaut I had to use both this Lora and one named realistic male ass and even then the results were underwhelming. It really goes with this model well, at first I was unsure if it would work good since it probably wasn’t originally trained with back views of men with balls but that doesn’t seem to effect it at all. And I’d love that, thanks for spending your time testing this out!!
@diffusiondudes Oh yes and im unsure if youve had this problem but when i do backviews i usually put "inverted genitals" or "misplaced genitals" in negative prompt just to make sure it doesnt accidentally replace whats supposed to be balls with a penis. Usually it helps, I got the tip from someone else on here.
@rime11 I've not heard of that but I will have to try it! This merge definitely deforms back view genitals. I'll add in a few things that'll help in the future but that's good to know for now.

You have to define them with terms like "large penis" to avoid that, or use "inverted genitals" in negative prompts. Or just generate a lot. It's because all the current training was done on vaginas and SD is smashing them together.
Unless you're talking about POV perspectives, and in that case, yes, they are almost always going to come out backward. You can inpaint them or use another lora on top.
Works pretty well. Getting good results and not a lot vaginas :-)
Sometimes I am getting something on the forehead. I noticed this also on other checkpoints when used with low Steps using SDE Karras. I tried to avoid it with (negative) prompts but its not possible.
Do you may know what the issue is or how to avoid that?
Dont think the issue is related to Himeros.
@CyclopsGER I have seen this happen sometimes and usually I'll adjust my prompt around a bit and sometimes that fixes the issue, or turning down the CFG to 2-3 even. It's something from the DNA in the merge with the Turbo in them is all I know
Hey all, just a quick update. First off, thanks for all the love and support on this model! Seeing it used out in the wild is exciting for me and I'm glad to help bridge the gap towards XL. I have not started a new merge yet, but I definitely will be in the next month or so. I've decided to avoid Turbo, LCM, and DPO in my next version as they all mess with LoRAs and composition too much. (Perhaps I will do a version with these as well in the future but no promises). I will also probably shift my focus towards photorealism with the next version as Pony and other merges are miles ahead for anime/illustration. Looking forward to getting it going soon, cheers :)
I hope to see many more versions of your model. Thank you for creating an XL checkpoint that can make male anatomy. It's just a shame you can't use your model on Civit yet.
@Bobit Unfortunately Civit isn't letting most XL models run but if they do eventually I'll allow this to run :)
@diffusiondudes Ye I'm kind of disappointed with Civit. I mainly use Tensor now because you can use more XL models on there and the images generated on Tensor look better than the ones on Civit. Please consider putting this model on Tensor.

If i prompt for a woman and a man naked, what is the chance of this model generating correct genitals for the correct gender? has it improved over other models?
You can see an example of one in my images on the model. It's pretty good and I was surprised when I tried it for the first time.I don't know of any other models that can do it but it's not what I am using them for personally.
