    This Illustrious model was made with a combination of my favorite NoobAI checkpoint REED_FURRY_MiX_SDXL and the ever popular Wai Illustrious checkpoint. Since I already made and posted checkpoints for Pony and SDXL, I figured that I mind as well do an Illustrious one as well. Having seen examples of checkpoints made with NoobAI, I thought I try making one that way as well. I tried various combinations till I came across one I find to be well made.

    The model has good vibrant colors, and makes characters rather well. And it works well with loras.

    For the name I thought a while over that and concluded with a word I made up years ago by accident. When writing down names for fantasy cities ending with the word theum, to sound more Greek, I typed tehum instead. Since the word sounded fantasy like I decided to use that for the name of cities in the fantasy setting I was creating. Since it is not a real word it makes for a good and original name for a checkpoint.

    Sampling Steps of 15 to 35 works well with most models, as does a CFG Scale of 3.5 to 7.5.

    Version 2.5 has a VAE baked into the checkpoint.

    EDIT: Ignore the below text, 2.0 is fine it just didn't have a built in VAE. I wasn't paying attention.

    I feel like I'm doing something wrong. It initially gens fine. Then it just slaps on an artificial grey filter to everything. Every single time. Adetailer fails on this too genning blatant boxes while, on every other model it blends on the exact same settings just fine.
    Is Reforge bad for this model?

    I am not sure. I hadn't had that problem myself. It could be prompts, or the site is having one of its moods when rendering.

    @adondlin255 I think you need to add VAE to the next version of this model. It's doing the grey-out on the onsite generator consistently for me too, and adding SDXL-VAE fixed it.

    @GayPurpleSkunk I will try to remember that. I will make one and test it to see if it works well, and see if there is much of a difference. It must be a site thing since it otherwise works well for my on my pc. It will be a bit till it would be used for generation on the site though since it is a weekly thing.

    Ah it's my fault. So many other newer models have VAE's built in. I made the assumption it had one too so I never bothered to check that one feature. Oops.

    @wuffser616 I see. I presumed that most models don't have one built in since I tend to use VAE's irregardless. I now think I should remake my pony and sdxl models with a vae.

    @wuffser616 I just updated the checkpoint to have a VAE. I hope it works and fairs far better than before for those finding the previous version wanting.

    @GayPurpleSkunk I also made an update to my SDXL one. I plan on doing the same with the Pony one once I remember the ratio between the three checkpoints I used.
