Depicts my character from BG3. This is a first test, so it may not turn out great.

did you use tags to train the lora? you really should use natural language, same for the generations.
I did in fact not use natural language. I filled out tags for all images which took a while. Then when I selected Chroma for the model it said I should use natural language. Could not bring myself to go back and rewrite everything.
Any tips on getting it to accurately recreate the character are greatly appreciated. I'm still trying to learn all this.
@b18bsw4927 i would use Joycaption to write the captions for you. it's pretty good though still needs some manual checking. it's what i use. if you want a character lora, you essentially do NOT caption stuff that is unique to your character. for instance, if you take a look at the lora i uploaded here, i made sure to NEVER mentione she has "red skin and horns" etc. that way, the lora learns that those are part of what it should learn (more or less, someone may explain this in more detail if they want). so if your character has a specific skin color or horns or eye color make sure to NEVER caption them. in your case i would caption it like: "a digital illustration of Jasmine standing in a grassy field", for example. i haven't tested elven characters yet but you might want to avoid mentions of elf or elves because chroma kinda just makes every elf into Frieren lmao. plus, if you caption it right it will always give her elven ears etc.
@crombobular It seems counter intuitive to not caption character traits. Also, is Chroma the best option for BG3 style or are there better ones? Also, is the thing about not captioning unique characteristics just a Chroma thing or across all models even when using tags?
@b18bsw4927 that's how it works across all models, you don't caption what you want the model to learn. your best bet for a bg3 style is chroma due to its higher general base knowledge.
i'm intending to make a general bg3 style lora for chroma soon, you'd only caption what's in the image but don't mention the art style itself, ideally.
@crombobular Alright. Is there a way I can show you an image and you could show me what and how I should caption it?
@b18bsw4927 try using this and then remove all mentions that are inherent to your character: https://huggingface.co/spaces/fancyfeast/joy-caption-beta-one
