Arcane Violet – A Grimdark Fantasy LoRA
Weight Range:
0.7 – 1.4 (semi-realism with an emphasis on dark images)
Overview:
Arcane Violet is a LoRA crafted for generating imagery steeped in dark fantasy—from cursed ruins and ancient magic to blood-stained royalty and shadowed landscapes. Originally a stylistic experiment, it evolved into a moody blend of traditional media textures—ink bleed, oil brushstrokes, and watercolor haze—intertwined with the arcane tone of grimdark worldbuilding.
This project is still very experimental, as I’m learning the ins and outs of Z-Image. While Version 1 doesn’t fully realize the depth of corruption and elegance I envision, it captures a strong foundation for the aesthetic. I plan to continue refining it with a focus on more vivid decay, haunted expression, and painterly detail.
Style & Intent:
Designed for dark fantasy and grimdark worldbuilding
Works best with themes of ruin, sorcery, lost empires, and eerie beauty
Painterly texture with semi-realistic structure
Feedback & Iteration:
This is an evolving project. I'm actively developing future versions, so if you test it out, I’d love to see what you create or hear what you think. Suggestions, critiques, or requests for tone adjustments are always welcome.

god your stuff is always stunning
Thank you :D, this still still very much a work in progress since there are still a few issues, but once anima training with civitai comes online ill give it another go
Looks genuinely awesome, keep crushing it friend🤘🔥
Thank you and for the help in testing
Just noticed the LoRA version is called "Amina" instead of "Anima".
Great work, though!
lol thank you for both the compliment and the correction :D:D
MORE ANIMA lora, PLZ
Ill try :D, i don't really have an idea at the moment beyond maybe improve this one a bit more :D
this actually came out a bit more vivid and less grimdark then i originally intended
@purplelady My aesthetic leans toward decay and elegance as well, so I'll be waiting.
i had an idea for redoing some of my more scifi concept art inspired lora but i lost the original datasets so i am trying to make new ones, lets see
@purplelady OK! when that day comes, I'll cheer for you and shout "Bravo!"
@purplelady BTW, NO pressure! Just go with the flow~
I ain;t blowing smoke whewn i say this, i finally got around to testing this lora and i love it so far. i know you plan to improve it but the creativity it brings when you hit it just right is flipping amazing. Keep cooking gurl! Black approved!!
Thank you :D
Literally, this is hands down one of the best lora's I have ever used.
i am really glad you like it :D
I try experimenting with all kinds of other loras but still always come back to this. It's simply incredibly flexible and stunning.
Thank you and glad you like it :D:D
This is probably a flub on my end, but when I upload a pic to civitai where I used this lora, it's not recognized as such. E.g., currently my latest uploads don't list this one though I used it.
Can anyone tell me why this is? I had this with one other lora as well, and I didn't change the name.
hmm i don't know why that would be happening sometimes its because civitai messes up the hashmatching or the save node(assume comfyui) you are using don't record it properly though that would effect most loras not just this one.. I don't really know.. maybe be you can try downloading the lora again could be some corruption of the local .safetensor.
Currently, Civitai gives me: "The following resources could not be matched to models on Civitai:
ArcaneViolet_mpt_64 lora"
I never changed the lora name from the download, and am using Forge Neo offline.
@egregius i honestly have no idea sorry, i use comfyui but i know people who use forge neo with this lora and they have no issues :(
