What are your recommendations for checkpoint to use for Illustrious and Noob respectively?
Would you mind sharing your dataset? I feel like the body shapes isn't quite close enough to the 1st game (specifically for etna based on the illustrious screenshots) and I'd like to try adjusting some training params.
Nice! I love Disgaea. Its up there in my top favorite game franchises with Zelda and Pokemon. I need to make more Disgaea things.
Illustrious is easier to train. NoobAI is more powerful but isn't as responsive as Illustrious for training. (I specifically use this version https://huggingface.co/OnomaAIResearch/Illustrious-xl-early-release-v0 but whatever is on the CivitAI trainer works too)
My dataset is this https://disgaea.fandom.com/wiki/List_of_Disgaea_RPG_characters (with a few images deleted but nothing added), so your observation that its not quite like the first game is correct because it has all the modern art in it.
(I used AI to write a python app to download all the images from this page. Don't try saving them manually it would take forever lol)
However, if you want a style more true to the the first game then you should try to find the art book for that game.
CitronLegacy I actually pulled from the same place to make an Etna lora because I've been replaying the first game recently. Thanks for the python idea, idk why I didn't think of that.
Do you have a discord? I'm looking to get more into training in a little less than a year when I have the money to buy a 5090. Would be nice to have friends interested in the same stuff.
