Pokémon Sprite Generator
If You Like This Model, Give It a ❤️
The LoRA model is specifically trained on Pokémon sprites sized at 96x96 pixels, which can be upscaled to 768x768 while utilizing BLIP image captions.
Quick Tips
No Trigger Word Required: This model operates without the need for a trigger word.
Recommended Resolution: We suggest setting your image resolution to 768x768 and then downscaling it 8 times to 96x96 for optimal results. Any image editing programs will work, but we recommend using plug-in for post-processing.
Pokémon Types: This model is trained with Pokémon type tags, including
grasstype, firetype, flyingtype, darktype, bugtype, andghosttype.Pokemon Recognition: The model can recognize some Pokemon names, but not every Pokemon.
Special Forms: The model has been trained with special form tags such as
gmaxandmega.
Enjoy your Pokémon sprite!

Hi, i have a question: How do you downscale the image after it was generated? Do you use img to img to do it or?
I use a webUI extension. https://github.com/mrreplicart/sd-webui-pixelart

They do recommend a plugin but you could also just use an image editing software and shrink the image using Nearest Neighbour interpolation
@twraZ The tool they recommend is actually the best and easiest way to downscale the images. It does the best job and I use it with many other models, but it works really well with @titansteng's model.
THANK YOU!!!! This is incredible. Combine this with img-to-img for color guidance (just draw the wanted shape with flat colors), and you have full control of what your fakemon looks like!
Thanks a lot this works very well!
Do you have any plan to release models for gen 3? Would be amazing for this model and for the trainer one.
I'm not sure what you mean "gen 3". Now, the dataset already contain sprite from gen 1 to gen 5.
You can try by yourself. The model can remember some pokemon name beyond gen 3. See this post : https://civitai.com/posts/963783
Anyway, I don't have idea to improve the model yet. I'm not able to make sdxl version create the same result as sd1.5 (the model can only make general pixelart).
@titansteng Sorry, I wasn't clear at all. What I meant is specify the sprite output style, like I want to generate an image in the Gen3 style, or the Gen6 style. https://bulbapedia.bulbagarden.net/wiki/Bulbasaur_(Pok%C3%A9mon)#Sprites

I'm so sorry, I almost forgot to mention that I have another version trained from multiple-gen sprites, including the backside view, along with their tags. However, training this version is time-consuming, and I haven't continued with it yet. Would you still like to have it as a beta/preview version?
@titansteng Oh, that looks great! Would love to have it, but take your time for sure if it's not ready!
