CyberRealistic Pony Catalyst is the wild child of the CyberRealistic Pony family. Built on the foundations of CyberRealistic Pony but wired for experimentation, Catalyst isn’t here to play it safe. It's where bold ideas, unstable brilliance, and next-gen prompting chaos all collide — and honestly? That’s the fun of it.
This isn’t your usual polished release. It’s a testbed, a workshop, a what-if-we-just- moment captured in model form. Expect unexpected results, strange breakthroughs, and sometimes magic that might just become the next official evolution.
🧪 What Makes It Different?
Built for exploration — prompt freely, break boundaries, test weird stuff
Updated between mainline releases with no rules but vibes
Output can vary — but when it hits, it hits hard

Description
I nudged the realism slider a little to the right on this version - a bit more lifelike, while still sticking close to the original vibe.

With CyberRealistic Pony Catalyst 1.1 you nailed it. Best Pony model I have ever tried. Please keep working on this line. Excellent realism, prompt adherence, and Lora compatibility. Such a masterpiece. Thanks so much!!!
But the colors and compositions in V9.o Alt 1, still better. Now after trying both in the same prompts is hard to choose. But maybe V9.o Alt 1, still better for those who want clear realism results. Both amazing models. Your models are excellent.
Version 1.0 renders pupils much better with the same requests, albeit not perfectly, but 1.1 has huge problems with this, noticeable even without zooming in, I hope it will be fixed, otherwise it's good.
I've noticed that too, but a second pass almost always fixes it.
When I use this model for LoRA training, I tend to get good results. It is difficult to train real images, but if I use this model as a base, the colors become natural. I wonder what kind of magic is behind this.
Many checkpoints include built-in LoRAs. While this can produce nice results, it can cause problems if you want to use your own LoRAs or use the checkpoint for training.
@Cyberdelia Oh, I see! Thanks for the information.
Seems very promising!
Any plans to improve clothing recognition? It’s way past CRP 9 (great job!) but still lags behind IL. I know realism is much harder but would be nice to have common costumes found in anime.
I’m using Catalyst 1.1 and CR v10 with the same prompts and is amazing how good, but still how different the outcomes are.
I can’t decide which one to keep and which to drop
And now there is V2 :)
