well, given her hair and cap it's likely she's named after erwin rommel, the "desert fox", and she's in an IP called "girls und panzer" it makes sense within the context. as women are basically outnumbered 1000 to 1 throughout history as far as military leadership is concerned, there's simply a paucity of inspiration to draw from, especially as it concerns the saxons
