Katherine Louisa Ryan is a Canadian comedian, writer, presenter, and actress known for her sharp wit and distinctive comedic style. Born on June 30, 1983, in Sarnia, Ontario, Canada, she has become a prominent figure in the British entertainment industry.​

Career

In 2008, Ryan relocated to the United Kingdom, where she quickly made a name for herself on the comedy circuit. She gained recognition for her appearances on British panel shows such as 8 Out of 10 Cats, Never Mind the Buzzcocks, A League of Their Own, Mock the Week, Would I Lie to You?, and QI. Her biting humor and insightful commentary on social issues, celebrity culture, and feminism resonated with audiences.​

As a stand-up comedian, Ryan has released two Netflix specials: Katherine Ryan: In Trouble (2017) and Katherine Ryan: Glitter Room (2019).
