✦ Arthemy Comics Illustrious - Quick Start ✦
I suggest you to use my quick prompts as a "quick start" and then move from there in the directions you prefere.
Afterall - they are called Checkpoints for a reason!

1_____Size: Around 1024 x 1344
2_____Prompt: Start from the prompts present here and tune the keywords based on your needs:
Quick Prompt
masterpiece, complex shadows, dynamic pose, solo, western comics \(style\) , linear hatching, flat color, perspective, (insert your prompt here!)
Quick Negative Prompt
big head, anime, low quality, worst quality, jpeg artifacts, fused elements, (no_lineart), blurry, bad anatomy, greyscale, (insert your prompt here)
3_____CFG: 5.5 to 7.0

Description
After the (very well deserved) backlash on the previous version of this model, I've got pretty frustrated with its unreliability. I really like some images that Arthemy 7.5 was able to make, but it was too messy, too shiny.
During the last week of work, I've re-finetuned the model in order to give it a much needed consistency and turning back towards the most comic-book aesthetic I ever achieved.
I see this version as my new standard and I'm very glad to share it with you all! ^_^

Amazing model, man, thank you so much for creating it!
This checkpoint is amazing...I was specifically looking for this kind of style to work on my characters. The only downside is that with 45/50 steps at 1024x1024 resolution it takes 107s on my m3 ultra Mac to generate an image with controlnet. Any advice to improve the speed? If I move lower than 1024x1024 the image starts getting out with a significant lower quality, like flat colors with less shadows and details. If I lower the steps count the image appears plainly unfinished...like hairs being half the color I specified inside the prompt and the other half another random color.
Hey there!
There are a few possibilities, you might want to try the LCM sampler, which usually works better with fewers steps, search for some"Turbo" models to improve those performances.
Alternatively you can try lowering the steps but increasing the CFG scale, if you want to keep a crisper definition with a lower number of steps. ^_^
