A versatile and artistic Illustrious model merge family primarily based on ZU_KI's fantastic ZUKI anime ILL model. As always, this merge is tuned to my personal aesthetic preferences, and simply happens to give me the best (in my opinion) outputs from an Illustrious-based model architecture.
Description
A remarkably simple experiment, made from a two-step half-and-half merge of two test models from the Augenstein and SteinCustom families, merged into the previous version of SteinIllustrious at 50%. Adds a bit more depth, retains the detail, style, and creativity of the family, and grows in versatility. I also recently discovered the FreeU extension within Forge, so if you're having trouble getting your results to look similar, you may want to experiment with it as well. Assuming you use Forge.

V16 is amazingly accurate with everything you want to do with it. Its always amazing to see models evolve.

Chillet does feature somewhat regularly in my generations, and the latest version has me quite impressed with what I can get now.
@AI_nstein amazing that pals are getting included in safetensors. It was bound to happen eventually. It'll be interesting if it progresses to the point where my Quivern lora becomes obsolete.

@jancok HomosimileXL and ReedMaleMix. I'll usually generate through a few models including Stein and pick the best results.
Leaving a message here, and a review I guess, been using the Stein models for so long.Model is very stable and somehow very flexable with multi loras, but in terms of outfit and certain poses, might need some extra tweaking

How do I get modern buildings to be anime, it just draws buildings that look to real. also night sky is blue and never draws a dark sky and always a bright horizon :D Model cant draw a dark sky.
IlluStein, a new series I'm working on (with a launch version already available, is even more anime than this series, so if you're having trouble getting anime-styled visuals, you might want to give that one a try. I should have V2 out soon.
I've noticed most Illustrious models have a hard time making scenes that are night or darkly lit; I don't know why this is, and I assume it's within the training data. I usually get around this in my own models by prompting for dark lighting, nighttime, and similar tags, as well as adding daylight, sunlight, etc. to the negative prompt.
