RAmen!
Is that you flying spaghetti monster? It's me Margret.
there are people who might find that offensive that you made a lora out of their god. XD
Hi, thanks for raising the concern! The original intent of this LoRA was to see how creative people could get. I have updated the description to further reflect how I hope people use the LoRA. Apologies to anyone that saw the previous description, but I have updated it to further reflect on the intent of this LoRA.
Pastafarians don't have restrictions on representing the mighty FSM!
We love to spread around the verb, and the salsa. Arrh! Thats an useful tool to enjoy the spaghettiness of our god. Don't forget the original intent around the creation of the FSM religion, that's being a satirical view on creationism and other religions "shortcomings" in general. We can depict our FSM, even in funny ways.
@esdiroz Really ? :-)
I wouldn't be promoting an image to bash on religious people. Its just petty.
Hi, thank you for sharing your concern. While I understand your perspective, it was not my original intent to promote religious bashing. I thought the flying spaghetti monster would be an interesting concept for AI generation and wanted to explore its capabilities. I apologize for any unintended offense caused and have updated the description to further reflect that. Thank you again for raising the concern behind the issue.
Pastafarism is a parodic religion but it is still a religion. Practicants can see this and think you are bashing them.
The religion itself appeared as a counterargument to american overreligiousness that wanted creationism to be taught at schools at the same level as evolution when it is in fact a belief and each different religion has a different myth. A physics teacher said jokingly something like they should also teach equally that we were created by a flying spaghetti and that is how it came to be.
In summary, it didn't arise to bash on religious people but on the fact that some of their practicants want privileges and a different logic to apply to their religion.
FSM and pastafarism has the same right to be than any other religion. In fact, if you complain here, then you should go to the Jesus LoRA and complain too because, since he is seen as a fake savior by jews and muslims, it can be disrespectful for them too.
Get a grip dude, it’s a cartoon monster that lives on the moon
@serf927 so were just going to jump the boat and say anything can be religion now? I'm sure people that are truly religious feel some offense or threat from other world religions. But this image has just been the latest and probably the most popular to use as a means of hate towards religion when its purpose was to be a counter protest to religious doctrine. So its a very sensitive line to begin with. Do you defend this new playful religion or do you see it as a movement with its own purpose being to oppose religion. Sure it looks playful, but can the same be defended if someone else came along and made a cartoon to promote neo natzi supremacy by making a (censored) cartoon to represent x people? I bet Civitai will take such a hateful image down the hour it was uploaded. That's why I made my comment. These images are not something we should take light heartenly for use of "creative generating."
@host_714 I just don't think anyone has the right to decide what is or isn't a religion and discriminate against others. Idk if people use FSM an pastafarism going further than the parody and the shortcomings it parodies from religions (from which they should either learn or be aware of); but people I know like FSM earnestly. I mean, it is an amazing character with amazing lore, what else is needed to allow people to like it or pray to it?
A fork can be used to kill someone, should we ban forks then?
Same with Pepe the frog you are using as pfp, it has been designated as a "fascist character" by some left organizations because certain groups use Pepe (when actually people with very different political positions do it). So, should you change your pfp based on what some crazy oversensitive americans say? According to what you say, yes, because you are "promoting an image to bash on" jews and other minorities.
FSM was never intended to bash religion. It was intended to bash the hypocrisy and outright lies told by people using the force of law to teach so-called "Intelligent Design" in public schools. These people continuously lied, including under oath in courtrooms, that they didn't have a preconceived notion that the Intelligent Designer was their Christian God. To expose their hypocrisy and lies, a recent college graduate sent the Kansas Board of Education an open letter suggesting that the so-called Intelligent Designer could be a flying spaghetti monster. So you see, the FSM is not and was never intended to mock religion - only hypocrisy and lies.
Yeah, legalizing discrimination against gay people, banning books, overturning abortion rights, and planning a fascist takeover of the government isn't just petty though. Nothing to say about that do you? It's all freedom of speech, until the fascists feefees are hurt.
Does animatediff work with Loras .. it could be a religious experience
I've never tried animateddiff before so I'm unsure. I would assume yes as long as it's properly prompted?
way too gooooood, thank you for making this :)))))
may he touch you with his blissful noodles and may you moan upon it.
Raaamen!
Glad you like it!
Praise our God!
Thanks So much! amazing training, did you train the model using existing images or do you manage to create that monster using text to image ?
Oh this was done in my early days of training stuff so it's just random images off of Google Search and a mix of my friend's spaghetti images. I honestly didn't expect it to get such good results but it worked out well.
why the hell is that tagged "fantasy"?
The base definition of fantasy is something a person imagines. I'd say a spaghetti god with meatballs as eyeballs is pretty much something imagined.
Very nice. I just thought he was invisible. Silly me
