Kolors: Efficient training of diffusion models for realistic text-to-image synthesis

Kolors is a large-scale text-to-image generation model based on latent diffusion developed by the Kolors team at Kuaishou. Trained on billions of text-image pairs, Kolors exhibits significant advantages over open-source and proprietary models in visual quality, complex semantic accuracy, and text rendering in both Chinese and English characters. In addition, Kolors supports both Chinese and English inputs and performs well in understanding and generating Chinese-specific content.

Open sourcing Kolors and collaborating with the open-source community to advance the development of large-scale text-to-image models. The project's code is open source under the Apache-2.0 license. We sincerely urge all developers and users to strictly adhere to the open-source license, avoid using open-source models, code, and derivatives for any purpose that may harm national security and society, or for any service not subjected to security assessment and registration. Please note that despite our best efforts to ensure the compliance, accuracy, and security of the data during the training process, due to the diversity and composability of the generated content, as well as the probabilistic randomness affecting the model, we cannot guarantee the accuracy and security of the output content, and the model is prone to generating misleading results.
