Gwen the Dire Wolf (or as she would prefer to be called, Gwendoline) is a competitive ice skater at the top of her game. It's incredibly rare for her to get outside of a podium finish, and when she does there's hell to pay for those around her. A diva is nothing without her talent, and talent Gwen has in spades. Her performances are beautiful spectacles and technically marvellous, but she, without fail, loses points for her resting mean face. This frustrates Gwen to no end (”Should one simply have the face of common fool, or would a serious competitor’s one suffice?”), as it has consistently soured many a near perfect score. Under direction from her butler (who is also her closest friend and ice skating instructor), Gwen sets out to explore the world and gain some life experience outside of the realm of competitive skating and rekindle her love of the sport.
