THICK XL is a bidirectional SDXL concept slider for adjusting the apparent build, mass and proportions of subjects.

Positive weights move toward thicker, broader and more substantial builds.
Negative weights move toward thinner, narrower and more slender builds.

No trigger word is required. Prompt your subject normally and control the effect using the LoRA weight:

The slider affects more than simple body fat. Depending on the subject and checkpoint priors, positive weights may increase torso width, , thighs, limb circumference, muscular mass, softness or general bodily bulk. Negative weights tend to narrow the frame, reduce limb and torso mass, and produce leaner or more lightly built subjects.

It works particularly well on subjects understood as having a body or physical build:

    • women and men

    • humanoids and creatures

    • cats, horses and other animals

    • dancers and costumed characters

    • knights and plate armor

    • stylized or illustrated figures

Transfer to inanimate objects is inconsistent. Columns and tree boles may become stouter or more slender, while noodles and snakes remain impressively indifferent to science. This is best understood as a body-build slider, not a universal geometric thickness control.

    Suggested weights

    • ±0.25 to ±0.75: subtle adjustment

    • ±1 to ±2: clearly visible, generally practical range

    • ±2 to ±3: strong transformation

    • ±4 to ±6: exaggerated or experimental results

Start around +1 or -1 and adjust gradually. Prompted body type, clothing, pose, species and checkpoint choice can shift the effective baseline.

At stronger weights the model may solve “thick” or “thin” categorically: a horse may move toward a draft or light breed, a creature may become a massive brute, and armor may become heavier while accommodating a broader wearer. Extreme weights can also alter identity, clothing, age, pose, rendering style or composition.

The included contact sheet shows ten fixed-seed subject sweeps from -6 through a true weight-zero baseline to +6.

Trained for SDXL on Juggernaut XL Ragnarok at 500 steps. Other SDXL checkpoints may interpret the direction differently.

Internally known as Bootiful Detroit Slider. The Thigh Elemental approves.
