Her personality is such that she prefers not to talk to anyone outside a select few classmates. Despite the café where she works at being marketed as a "healing maid café," her personality and behavior often work against this image. Her strict customer service has led the protagonist to regard it as more of a "tsundere café."

The protagonist's relationship with Meiri began after he helped her resolve a conflict with a senior student. Since then, she has grown closer to him. Whenever he visits the café, she goes all out to prepare what she calls her "failed menu items" (which turn out to be delicious).
