Karin "Snow-Fell" , an alternate timeline version of Karin Frost-Fang, a major character in my fanfic Her Best Work in Red, which I'll plug again further below and with a writeup and all that fun stuff. She's an aged ex-assassin and bandit and somewhat domesticated version of mainline Karin with a daughter:

In tradition of my loras, I haven't tested yet, so it usually will take me a day or two to get a good showcase and be able to tell you the quirks.

I used 51 samples with her, with an emphasis on consistency, feel free to download my dataset. Physical description:

39 years old, messy black hair, blue dress, matching light blue eyes, caucasian nord (you MAY use pale but I find sometimes this gets you a vampiric looking Karin), lithe build, small-medium bust, scars on body (you may want to not specify this and just let the lora do its thing, or neg them out), sly features. Favors raucous, drunken or grinning expressions, her combat attire is usually a ragged version of the dress (or less!) with sleeves torn off and hem cut to above the knee, makeshift headband or bandana, favors knives.

There's a couple with Erik, if you want him you can try throwing in my Erik HBWIR lora and prompt him by name, or just do prompts like:

Erik: 33 years old, long red (or orange) hair and moustache and beard with matching pale blue eyes, muscular and warm features. town attire is a brown jerkin, green tunic, and brown pants with a belt and pouch. Warrior attire is armor with a one handed or two handed sword.

So's why this lora? Aside from completeness since I already did Vayniya and Erik and all the interesting extra dimensions and contradictions with this version of Karin, I just really like her design. I feel like its a really logical aged version of her, and you get expressions and looks that just don't feel right with baseline 25 yo psycho assassin Skyrim. She's slightly haggy/boozy but more attractive I think anyway, although it could be because she's literally MILF Karin. I'm expecting her build and features to really pop with these samples, with 25 yo Karin its always been tough to keep her consistent but I feel like I got better results with HBWIR Karin.

I really wanted to have her daughter Kahira in here because without her, you really don't get the HBWIR version of Karin, I had some awesome awww family pics, but I'm not stepping into any possible disasters with settings or minors or especially civitai genning stuff I didn't ask it for. So I didn't use any of those as samples. I might try to do a PG only lora of Kahira for completeness later, if I wind up doing that I'll just use the restricted settings and throw some Karins and Erik tags in there, the great thing about these HBWIR loras is they've been good experience for me for training multiple characters in one lora.

Ok, how 'bout that writeup? Yeah, I know its obnoxious to plug this every HBWIR lora, but otherwise you got no context, Ch2 is a Karin chapter, she's got a few scenes in 3 and 4 has everybody but its majority Karin:

The main point of divergence in this timeline from base Karin is Karin getting pregnant by Shana the Golden Wasp (who I'll do a lora of at some point) after a magically induced encounter, Erik the Slayer takes pity on her when he finds her months along and down to her last crumbs, Karin goes under the alias "Snow-Fell" and she and Kahira become a fixture in Rorikstead and look, why don'tcha just read the fic?

Character Profile: Karin Snow-Fell ("Frost-Fang")

1. Core Archetype:

2. Background Summary:

• Would be moderately attractive if not for her slovenly habits, offputting personality and drinking, she has a wiry but still somewhat athletic scarred form, long black hair that is often tangled, and “strange” pale blue eyes and somewhat pale skin.  She favors simple dresses which she takes care of haphazardly.  She is an expert with knives, daggers and similar short edges and has some knowledge of both alchemy and poison for both recreational and assassination purposes.  At the time of the story she is 39 years old.

• Grew up in an unstable environment with a "besotted, shattered sire."

• Developed a cynical, violent worldview.

• Lived for years as a notorious and sadistic assassin and brigand as "Karin Frost-Fang," indulging in violence, alcohol, and hedonism. She is a lesbian.

• Her life was irrevocably changed by an aphrodiasic-influenced encounter with “Shana” the Golden Wasp, a cross dressing treasure hunter and assassin that resulted in her becoming pregnant with her daughter, Kahira.

• Found starving and septim-less by Erik, she reluctantly accepted his protection. The birth of Kahira unlocked a profound maternal instinct, giving her a reason to fight her own monstrous nature.

• For the past 13 years, she has lived in Rorikstead, performing the role of a mother. She has not been "cured" of her past; she is in a constant, daily battle to "bridle" her violent, self-destructive impulses for the sake of her daughter. She compromises with these urges by drinking excessively.

• She has begun to trust Erik deeply as a comrade and family, but is unable to return his burgeoning romantic love, she wishes to keep their comrade like bond and avoids or treats lightly Erik’s romantic gestures out of immature fear of losing it, creating a state of guilt and frustration that fuels her abrasive behavior.

3. Personality Traits:

• Primary Traits (The "Frost-Fang" Persona): Chaotic, Impulsive, Violent, Cynical, Manipulative, Profane, Jocular, Arrogant.

• Secondary Traits (The "Mother" Persona): Fiercely Protective, Loyal (to a fault), Self-Loathing, Pragmatic, Possesses a dark/gallows humor.

• Core Conflict: The constant, violent war between her monstrous id ("Frost-Fang") and her maternal superego ("Kahira's Mother"). Her personality is defined by its volatility and contradictions.

• While she is the source of much of the household's "storms," she is deeply and fiercely protective of Kahira and Erik. She is a woman of intense appetites and a sharp, cynical wit

4. Manner of Speech (Voice Profile):

• Tone: Highly variable and reactive. Can shift instantly from a loud, "raucous" bellow to a threatening whisper, to a tone of deep, weary sadness. Her default mode is a kind of aggressive, performative jocularity.

• Vocabulary & Syntax:

  • Archaic and Profane (The "Gutter" Voice): Her speech is a unique blend of archaic fantasy vernacular ("Aye," "thou," "naught") and brutal, often scatological, modern-feeling profanity. She uses curses as punctuation. Her insults are visceral, anatomical, and creative.

  • Theatrical Language: She is a performer. She uses grand, sweeping statements and insults, often delivered with a "crooked smile" or a "feral crescent."

  • Language of a Predator: Her worldview is reflected in her words. She speaks of people as "marks," of kindness as a "trap," and of combat in terms of "filth" and brutal efficiency.

  • Surprising Poetic Honesty: In rare moments of extreme vulnerability (usually concerning Erik or Kahira), her profane armor cracks, and she speaks with a simple, direct, and often heartbreakingly poetic honesty.

• A Unified Front: Despite her ribald nature, she and Erik raise Kahira as their "shared daughter."

• The Found-Family Connection: Karin’s sexual and romantic orientation is toward women, which defines the non-traditional nature of her bond with Erik. Despite this, she loves him "fiercely and protectively" as her primary partner and emotional anchor.

• Her primary, overriding motivation is the protection of Kahira. This forces her to fight against her own nature. Every action she takes, from her violent "roamings" (reframed as providing for her family), to indulging Eric’s overtures with as much patience as she can muster is ultimately in service of this goal. Her secondary motivation is to manage her own self-loathing and her impossible love for Erik.

6. Skills

• Master of the Ambush: A highly lethal combatant specializing in assassination and ambush tactics. In battle, she works as a partner to Erik; while he draws the enemy's attention, she exploits openings with surgical precision.

• Stealth and Survival: Retains most of the instincts of her assassin past despite her drinking and "quiet" life in Rorikstead. Semi-regularly indulges in eliminating potential local threats with Erik, such as bandits, Forsworn or wild beasts. This is framed as for security and profit, but really these ventures are to sate Karin's bloodlust.
