Victoria Soren Wyvern, also known as Vic, is one of eight successful clones created using the blood of Queen Elizabeth and project founder Aiden Rudolph within Ashcroft & Hammersmith. Victoria was designed to infiltrate the political space of the New United States of America as a way to bring back British rule over the NUSA. The original seven clones had mysteriously disappeared before Victoria was born, and she had no awareness of her seven sisters until a ragtag group of mercenaries rescued her.
Before Victoria was rescued, a mercenary group known as the Misfits was sent on a vague snatch-and-grab mission, thinking they were to steal a painting or centerpiece. Their code was clear: they didn't get involved in human trafficking, no matter the price. The crew had everything planned out, from distractions to contingencies if things went south. But once in position, their leader—a nomad named Destin—halted the crew and decided to go alone, a bad feeling running down his Sandevistan spine.
Upon entering the facility through ventilation shafts, Destin found himself in a strange part of the Ashcroft & Hammersmith building that looked like something out of medieval times. When he opened a wooden door, he spotted Victoria, who thought Destin was her grandson paying her a visit—only to realize it was a new stranger. Upon talking to her, she wasn't aware of the outside world, yet she knew what firearms looked like. After a lengthy conversation with the woman, the leader put two and two together, realizing the heist they were participating in was in fact human trafficking—which angered the man.
To prevent Victoria from becoming a victim, he snatched her up and took her with him to save her. They couldn’t go back the same way the nomad came in, as the vents were too high off the ground. They trekked through the underground lair, which turned from faux medieval decor to a full-blown laboratory. While finding a way out, they idly explored the facility, surprised to not see guards or workers. That's when they stumbled into the cloning chambers, where rows and rows of Victoria clones—from fetus to adult forms—filled a dome-shaped room.
Destin saw the rage and fury within Victoria’s eyes and offered her his firearm. Screaming in seething hate, Victoria blasted the entire dome facility, destroying computers and tanks as Destin stood guard.
Once the alarms went off, Destin and Victoria gunned their way out of the facility. Making their escape, Victoria was shellshocked, seeing her surroundings unfamiliar with flying ships, cars, or the skyscrapers that touched the heavens. When she finally composed herself just enough to get into the crew’s van, they sped off into hiding. There, they messaged the fixer who had hired them for the gig. They soon found out that the fixer was none other than one of Victoria’s handlers—and her “grandson.” They also discovered that the seven other clones had been sold into trafficking, similar to what Vic had been planned for. But Destin had better plans: scrambling the signals for Medtech emergencies, he gave Victoria a shotgun to do as she pleased to her “grandson”—to which she shot the man in the groin, letting him bleed to death.
Now on the search for her sisters, Victoria joins the Misfits on many hijinks.
