《山海经·西山经》所载：

天山，有神焉，其状如黄囊，赤如丹火，六足四翼，浑敦无面目，是识歌舞，实为帝江也。

《庄子·内篇·应帝王第七》原文记载：

南海之帝为儵，北海之帝为忽，中央之帝为浑沌（常与混沌通假）。儵与忽时相与遇于浑沌之地，浑沌待之甚善。儵与忽谋报浑沌之德，曰：“人皆有七窍以视听食息，此独无有，尝试凿之。”日凿一窍，七日而浑沌死。

In the Mountain and Sea Sutra - West Mountain Sutra, it is stated that

There is a god in the Heavenly Mountains, whose shape is like a yellow capsule, red like the fire of Dan, with six legs and four wings, and without a face, who knows how to sing and dance, and is in fact Dijiang.

In the original text of Zhuangzi (Zhuangzi - The Seventh Book of the Inner Chapters - Ying Di Wang) it is written:

The emperor of the South Sea is Abrupt, the emperor of the North Sea is Khu, and the emperor of the Central Sea is Hun Chao. Abrupt and Khu met each other in the land of Chaos, and were treated very well by Chaos. They said, "All men have seven orifices to see, hear, eat and breathe, but this one has none. They chiseled a hole every day, and Chaos died in seven days. So that chaos should not have order like others. chaos have orders, then chaos die.
