Description

This is a model to create depth map images that can be used to create autostereograms, those images that you stare at cross-eyed to see an illusion of a 3D image.

How to Generate

• Generate an image with the Lora

• Find a texture to impose it onto (this is already preset in many generators online)

• Run it with a stereogram generator, e.g. https://www.easystereogrambuilder.com/

The results can be a little hit and miss. Make sure that the generated image has light colors for parts close to the viewer, and dark colors for distant parts. Z-Image has a tendency to lapse back into normal greyscale.

How to View

There are many instructions on how to view the 3D images online (e.g. here). Be sure to open the images and not just look at thumbnails or previews. The image compression on this site does not preserve the effect.
