Nanase Nishino, born on May 25, 1994, in Osaka Prefecture, Japan, is a Japanese actress, model, and television host. She rose to prominence as a first-generation member of the idol group Nogizaka46 and has since built a successful career in acting and modeling.
Nishino joined Nogizaka46 in 2011 and quickly became one of the group's central figures. She was selected as the choreographic center for the first time for the group's 8th single "Kizuitara Kataomoi" in 2014. Her popularity continued to grow, and she released her first solo photobook, "Fudangi," in 2015, which topped the Oricon weekly sales chart. She graduated from Nogizaka46 in 2018 to focus on her acting career.
In her acting endeavors, Nishino has taken on various roles in television and film. She starred as Asahi Tōjima in the film "Asahinagu" (2017) and played Ai Amano in the TV series "Denei Shojo: Video Girl Ai 2018." Her versatility as an actress is evident in her performances across genres, including her role as Hiromi/Hachi Augment-01 in "Shin Kamen Rider" (2023).
Beyond acting, Nishino has been an exclusive model for the fashion magazine "Non-no" since 2015 and co-hosts the Fuji TV variety show "Lion no Goo Touch."
