Isn't that always the case with most visual novels? I mean the only ones I've ever seen are just cash grab tripe... which sounds exactly like what this is. I can't say for certain cause this is my first hearing of it... But I am assuming it fits the mold because of the... 2 sentences of story I've read about it.
@Kaladae Oh yeah it's quite bad once a porn/VN dev goes big. DmD and Summertime Saga are 2 that had a great start but have both turned into Patreon milking machines instead of finishing on it. Heck SS hasn't had a proper update for close to 2 years now (last update 1year ago added 2-3scenes IIRC) and still going due to a big "tech update" they're allegedly working on. Shits bonkers but the people actually funding them after all this time are even worse

@Santaonholidays People are idiots who enable the behaviour. Do you think it would actually take so long to update it otherwise? Let me remind you that the last time it "updated" was 31-10-2022 which is roughly one and a half year.
Granted latest post they've supposedly started early testing the tech update, but 2 years? Not to mention the update tracker has been jumping from 50-ish to 70/80 and back down like a yoyo.
Mind you I like the game, I just don't like the very obvious milking the dev is doing

@Santaonholidays Haha well I can't argue that. Just read up on the thread that the tech update they're releasing won't have all the previous content either:

Despite having the majority of the game converted for the Tech Update, this will be the first "part" of the game to be released publicly.
