Dim 32 Alpha 16 is plenty enough for any anime character with a few outfits. Anything over D64A32 is an overkill. It won't help with details or anything. It just ends up as a bloated file size.
@LittleJelly thanks a lot, but these Loras were made by my own methods, trained, merged and extracted from base model, which will always output a 144mb lora. and i'll do a batch of tests that remake it to fp16, 32, 64 or 128, for this lora only the 144mb one had remain the most details of the character so I keep it
and 1920 was that I usually forget how much of steps I trained so I inserted it randomly 0.0
@phoenix_ms I did my rounds of testings for two days with higher dim and alpha. For my settings the result is D32 A16 as the golden spot. There's no benefit of higher values. I did use to go with D128 A64, but after going through the guide, and my own testing, well I already told you the result.
@LittleJelly I did that experiment also and I agree with u, so while I made each lora they were actually from 16-32dim originally. but after merge multiple loras into a base model and extract the final lora, the outcome will turn out to be 144mb. I always do tests for the outcome before post it, compress it as small as possible, so I also made some lora which were only around 16-32mb. but for this one the 144mb lora is actually the best ORZ. btw thank u very much!
@phoenix_ms hmmmm? So you merge LoRAs? Like separate outfits and then merge it into one Lora?
@LittleJelly not seperate outfit, they could be done all in one go. I trained unet and text separately then merge to fulfill more accurate controlling
