For version 2 IL I actually would recommend following settings:
DPM++ 2M SDE Karras
positive prompt:
masterpiece,realistic,hyperrealistic,<photography style>,depth of field,<lighiting>,<artist style>,<your prompt>
no negative prompt is usually needed
Use artist styles to get more variety in faces
Love it more and more with every generation. Might be my favorite realistic Illustrious checkpoint. Would be awesome to know the plans for this vs Project IL (v3). These seem to have different lineages / recipes, but both are awesome in their own right.
