Danica McKellar is an American actress, mathematics writer, and education advocate. She is best known for her role as Winnie Cooper on the television series The Wonder Years. In addition to her acting career, McKellar has written several books aimed at encouraging middle-school and high-school girls to have confidence and succeed in mathematics. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics from UCLA, where she graduated summa cum laude.
