Sergeant Detritus is a hulking troll and a veteran member of the Ankh-Morpork City Watch. He’s fiercely loyal, brave, and protective of his fellow officers, though his preferred method of problem-solving often involves the use of his enormous crossbow, the "Piecemaker," which he wields with deadly accuracy.
