Hello there!
I was a bit worried cause it was the very first time training an already existant character/concept (I use to draw or 3D model them). Some people requested if I can train some characters from videogames and TV series and well, here we are. I will be doing styles too but wanted to test my self a bit.
It was trained using internet images, some drawings here and there and polishing and fixing as much as possible (ironically I had to take out the two ribbons of the red bandana cause caused conflict).
Models tested: Faetastic, Dreamshaper 3.32 clipfix, GhostMix 1.2, Colorful v3, Rev Animated 1.22...
Token is: sfr1v and strength recommended is 0.8-1.X
This LORA is good at:
***********************
- Anime style output/semi realistic style outputs/concept illustrations of Ryu.
- Any type of portrait, side portrait, half body shot, face shot you can imagine.
- Create surroundings (if prompted, if not black and white background are designed for it)
- Mixing with other LORAs.
This LORA suffers with:
*************************
- Hands. Yup.
- Standing poses where hands are shown (will fuck the art)
So if you want to do some cool poses I'd extremely recommend to use ControlNet.
How to Prompt
******************
- Portrait/side portrait/half body shot/etc., sfr1v, environment, etc.
- If you use negative embedding CAUTION. This LORA was trained under specific exp. settings so you may need to drop bellow 0.7 or don't use token in the prompt.
- You can always invoke ryu with short black hair, red bandana/head band, white outfit/karate outfit even without using the token. This is specially useful to make advanced combinations in the prompting.
IMPORTANT!
I wrote an article here and it's like my finetunning diary for the ones interested with releases upcoming, trainings done, exclusive patreon models previews, personal thoughts, etc. So if you want to see what I'm planning or what I'm into, feel free to take a look.
That's all! Enjoy and feel free to support me in the Patreon
Thanks!

Brings back memories of another life long ago. Anyways, your models are great, thank you for sharing!
Yeah, I was a heavy SF II player (and then Alpha 2). It was a great gaming era, no doubt! Thanks for the kind words mate.
Galleries updated with HR fix which much much more quality.
Are you doing more SF?
Yeah, if people wants why not. Are you interested in some character in particular? (you or anyone here).
By the way I'm trying to train Sagat
I was looking for Street Figter chars and found your Ryu which images are you using for the training? we need more SF!!
EI hi, actually I was trying to do Sagat but with a lot of problems with the eye patch... it's destroying his face so I mini trained a LORA with few images, prompt some, rework/bash in Photoshop so I can get more clean images... and for now looks like him with scars on chest but no eye patch... If it's going good I will upload it here... the other choice is to make an alternate version training with diff. Outfits and not classical look. I was planning to do more chars but with guy took me whole 6 days...
Thanks for commenting!
Yeah, haha. Well a lot changed to the training approach but inpainting or just minor bashing do the trick. Glad you like it.
@LDWorksDavid Yes, it's the best Ryu lora but his bandana is the most iconic part of the character. Will there be any upgrades to make his bandana look like it did in the games?
@maiakovskybarbosa670 It's complicate cause that means I will need to fix all training images and that will cost lot of time and to be fair, I don't know if I still have them. So In the short time I don't think so. Maybe a different version for SDXL could be in the future but have no ETA. For now you will have to do inpaint to fix that cause the token wears the bandana like that. Even in the synthetic AI gens get that bandana-like so it's more complex than it sounds. ;)
@LDWorksDavid "For now you will have to do inpaint to fix that"
and what would this inpaint be?@maiakovskybarbosa670 Inpaint sketch.

09:48-10:00 just drawing a super rough ver. of the rest of bandana will work.
@LDWorksDavid Okay, I didn't know about this option. I'll try and see. Thanks.
