Bambi is a 1942 animated film directed by David Hand. It is an American animated feature film, produced by Walt Disney and based on the novel Bambi, the life of a fawn by Felix Salten¹. The story follows the adventures of Bambi, a white-tailed fawn, and his friends, including Tamburino (a pink-nosed rabbit), Fiore (a skunk) and his childhood friend and future companion Faline. The film explores themes of growth, friendship and survival in the forest.
