The trigger alone does not work. You really need to include additional "helper" text (i.e., additional triggers) to get it to work. Based on the creator's posts on Reddit and my own experiments, use some or all of the following in addition to the psypop trigger:
70s psychedelic style poster a vibrant and psychedelic artwork with a mix of abstract patterns, bright colors, and intricate designs, evoking a sense of wonder and imagination
I wish more LoRA creators would stop using triggers for style LoRAs. With Flux, captioning for styles is by and large unnecessary and repeating elaborate captions across your training data basically just turns the repeated phrases into additional triggers you have to include to get the LoRA to work.
Hey, thank you for trying out the LoRA and for your comment. You are absolutely right about needing additional phrases to fully trigger the effects.
What you are writing about captions is generally true but not 100% accurate. You are right that if captions repeat the same phrases, you are basically creating more trigger words, but a trigger word isn't an on/off switch. Also, the phrases you mentioned are just from one caption. There were many more with different phrases, and if you'll use those, you'll also trigger the LoRA further. You also have to take into account how far is the LoRA from base flux. My experience suggests that captioning can actually quite a bit with making a LoRA more flexible, but I haven't trained that many, so you might be right. We're all still learning here.
I did add additional supporting phrases in the model's description, I'll add those to the "trigger word" list as well.
For sure, the phrases you mentioned can all be used, and each will add something, but they are not all required, and there many other phrases that can help this LoRA come to the forefront.
I hope that despite these issues you are enjoying it! β€οΈ
