Indeed, I think it is not a problem if an existing model exists. Often times this gives more flexibility and even sometimes you can mix them together to get even better results!
Perhaps I am too conservative and I think that you need to achieve a good result yourself.
There is a finished result, for example, your models. You can take them and safely use them in your work. It makes no sense to do what has already been done before you and done well. In this case, I did not like the result of the previous models. Well, it doesn't take that long.
