Hi! Hope your doing well! I have a suggestion, I still haven't seen a Candace in SDXL, also the only Sara that exist isn't that great honestly, are you planning to do them in the future?
Hello ! It's been some time! I'm doing fine, and you ?
I noted Candace somewhere earlier, I dont' remember for who, but I shall do it soon, for Sara I might take a bit of time but I'll check !
@Pippinio Pretty fine honestly! Ok great, thx !
Also two other questions: are you training your loras locally or online, and if locally what card are you using?
Also, what model are you training them with?
@Zaltar Hello !
I'm training locally with Derrian Lora Trainer, with a 4070 Super (12 GB VRAM) GPU. For model, I'm using Pony Diffusion V6 XL (Pony base) to train !
For a 1000 steps lora, it takes around 1 hour !
@Pippinio Thx for the feedback! Oh you have a 4070 super! I was thinking about buying a new card, but I'm not sure If I need to heavily invest into a 4070 ti super with 16 gb, and probably change my power supply or if a 4070 s is fine. To generate a 1152 x 896 with lets say a lora, and no other modifier, what is the speed in i/s?
@Zaltar Hey, sorry for not answering earlier !
4070 Super is really good, what's your PSU ?
To answer about it/s :
For a 832x1216 (it's the most used resolution for Pony, generally) with a lora (for exemple here I just generated a random pick of Stelle) it has an average of 3.6 it/s, which means around 7 seconds for a 30 steps picture. (When i was using my 1660 super, it was probably around 1minute or 2 minutes for the same picture haha)
if you add Adetailer (pretty much mandatory) it's average of 10 seconds. I think on my 1660 Super it was 3-4 minutes...
I tried 896x1152 too, it is the same.
To be fair I was really positively surprised when I did my first gens, I expected something around 30sec-1min (ofc as I was coming from a GPU that takes 2-4 minutes for 1 picture) and then I see "7 sec", it boosted me so much in doing more AI :d
I hope it helps !
(If you want, just for fun, I can do the exact same on my 1660 Super, to compare)
16gb can help with Flux I think, but if you don't use Flux then 12gb is perfectly fine, at least for AI, no idea what you use your PC for, besides AI :d
But 1660 Super is insane value !
@Pippinio Nice thx! Ok so it's even more than I thought, like 3 time faster and not 2 times than mine. Well I think I'll reinvest in a new config honestly, to play, to do some projects, et also SD, thx for the feedback ;)
