Though I have to agree, descriptions should probably be placed in the descriptions section rather than a separate page (maybe a shortened/summarized version of the parts dealing with what this does and how to use it) -- and external/supplemental/general things placed last, as a matter of readability and communication.
I don't mean to sound negative, just adding my voice in support of better UX ;)
