After a lot of experimentation ive found a look that is authentic to the show and one that I am happy with.

Please note this style LORA does not seem to be needed for ATLA characters. It will double the effect of the style and make them look weird. Use only for non-atla characters.

Here's the prompt prefix I used for Samus to get her looking like she belonged in the show

score_9, score_8_up, flat, color, source_anime, 1990s (style), anime screencap, film grain,

With a strength of 1.1. Any higher and the eyes will start to blur.

Adding the last airbender tag seems to give unwanted ATLA apparal (such as topknots.)

If you are using a LORA of an ATLA character, simply disable this LORA and plug in the prefix. Should look fine.

So this should be your prompt if you are using an ATLA Character LORA

I've found a great technique that maintains the flexibility of using score tags while preserving the visual fidelity of the specific artist’s style:

1. Generate with Score Tags: Start by using score tags in combination with the style LoRA at a strength of 1.0. Continue generating until you find a seed that works well.

2. Ensure Face Detail Consistency: If you're using a face detailer, make sure it's also using the style LoRA. Otherwise, the face might end up looking airbrushed or awkward, which can detract from the overall style.

3. Upscaling with Style LoRA: When sending the image to your upscaler, use the style LoRA again, but at a slightly higher strength (around 1.2) with a denoise level of 0.5. Change the prompt so that it removes all score tags. This helps to overwrite any unwanted stylistic effects from the score tags and ensures the final image matches the desired artistic style.
